See scan - perfect condition. This is an important and fabulous carved 18 karat French revival Art Nouveau brooch with flowers and floral motifs of incredible detail. Notice how the gold work flows and swirls all around. This amazing transformable brooch / broche is a hand carved flight of fancy. Carved on both sides - obverse and reverse. The reverse also has two hooks at top so it could be worn as a pendant as well. At the center of the brooch there is a nice yellow citrine or topaz gemstone in oval shape. Bottom ends with a small baroque pearl. Wonderfully French hallmarked at back pin. Weight of the brooch is 17.2 grams in 18 karats. Size is 47 x 40 mm. Absolutely scarce and rare antique designer jewelry collector piece and one of the rare classical Art Nouveau brooches.
