See scan - perfect condition with NOT a single moth hole or other damage. This is an extremely scarce and rare Bulgarian Royal WWII NAVY / Marine ship Captain 1st Class uniform group. During those days Bulgaria was a NAZI Germany war ally and many of these highest Army officers and NAVY military had gone through special training in Germany. The rank of this type of Captain could be compared to Colonel or General in the Infantry. The uniform set contains a perfect black colored NAVY long tunic with original Captain shoulder boards with King Boris III cypher and crowns. There are also original epaulettes and gold plated high officer crowned buttons with anchors. MOST IMPORTANT is the fact that this group contains the original NAVY Captain dagger with holster and black belt. The belt is absolutely scarce and rare piece with great lion heads clasps and dagger hangers. The dagger itself is also a great piece except for a small crack to a part of the ivory handle. Nevertheless it is overall intact and it is just a cosmetic problem. We prefered to leave it to its authentic look and wear due time and age. The group also comes with the Captains pair of fine white leather gloves and silk handkerchief, as well as a full set of spare sleeve patches and epaulette. Icluded also are the white shirt collar and black tie. Inside the uniform there is also an embroidered tag from the tailor in the town of Varna. On the left hand side of the uniform there are 2 medals / orders loops - most likely for a St. Alexander order and a Bravery one. This is one of the most complete sets we've had for sale.
