Item description:

See scan - perfect condition. This is an extremely scarce and rare Bulgarian Royal Army real photo / photograph postcard of a soldier in full diving suit outfit and gear taking a dive near the Varna port at the Black Sea and probably taking a look for mines. Any related material to the diving NAVY / Marine Unit is very scarce from that period, since there were no more than 7 or 8 officers and soldiers as staff of the unit. At that time Bulgaria was a German ally and many of these soldiers had gone through training in Germany. Scarce military / militaria collector piece and one of the rare Bulgarian postcards.
