Item description:

See scan - absolutely perfect condition. This is one of the rarest Bulgarian Royal Bravery orders. It is the 1st issue awarded only to a handful of high ranking Army / Military officers in 1880 by the Bulgarian Prince / King Alexander Batenberg. The order is made out of sterling silver with a very special red enamel base pattern and all is vastly different from all later issues. This order type is also well known and distinguished by the special long hook part with lilly leafs and two small pointing balls at each side of the top part. So far this is one of about no more than 5 other such examples known to exist among collectors. Extremely scarce and rare militaria collector piece and one of the rarest Bulgarian decorations types.
